BMS Control Panels
Power Infrastructure Designed
for How Buildings Actually Work.
Modern buildings rely on intelligent systems to manage energy, comfort and safety – and the power panels that support those systems need to be designed with integration in mind from the start. NAW Controls engineers BMS power panels that connect seamlessly with your building management architecture, delivering the monitoring signals, protection and power distribution your system needs.
We work with BMS integrators, mechanical services builders and EPC contractors during the design phase to confirm interface requirements, communication protocols and load configuration before any manufacturing commences. The result is a panel that connects cleanly to your BMS on the first attempt.
Our Thomastown facility manufactures each panel to a full engineered drawings package, with test documentation supplied before dispatch. Whether you’re commissioning a single intelligent building or a large commercial campus, our team has the capability and experience to deliver.
Integrated Systems Approach
Built for Operational Excellence
A distribution board is the nerve centre of your electrical installation. When it’s engineered properly, it protects your equipment, simplifies maintenance and supports your operation for decades. NAW Controls designs each board as part of a complete electrical system, not an isolated component.
NAW Controls offers a comprehensive electrical solution integrating power distribution, control and automation systems to ensure efficient, reliable and safe operation across both industrial and commercial environments.
Together, these integrated solutions create a scalable and future-ready infrastructure that supports operational excellence and sustainable energy use.
Power Distribution
Power distribution solutions are designed todeliver stable and optimised electrical supply, incorporating switchgear, protection systems and energy management to maintain continuityand minimise downtime.
Control & Automation
Control and automation solutions enable intelligent operation of equipment through advanced monitoring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and real-time data analytics.
Variable Speed Drives
Variable speed drives (VSDs) enhance energy efficiency and process precision by regulating motor speed to match operational demand, reducing wear and power consumption.
Machine Control Systems
Machine control systems provide accurate coordination, synchronisation and performance optimisation of machinery, improving productivity and ensuring consistent output quality.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know About BMS Power Panels
What BMS platforms do you design panels for?
We design panels for a wide range of BMS platforms including Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell and others. We work from your BMS engineer’s interface specification to confirm the correct signals, protocols and wiring before manufacture.
Can you integrate energy metering into BMS power panels?
Yes. We regularly incorporate energy meters, current transformers and pulse outputs into BMS panels to feed consumption data directly into the building management system. We can configure the meter to match your BMS protocol – whether that’s Modbus, BACnet or pulsed output.
What communication interfaces can you accommodate?
We design panels with a range of communication interfaces including Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet MS/TP and BACnet IP. We confirm the required interface with your BMS integrator during the design phase and test the communication link before dispatch where possible.
Do you supply panels for new builds and existing building upgrades?
Yes. We design BMS power panels for new commercial developments and for intelligent building upgrade projects in existing assets. For upgrades, our team can review the existing electrical and BMS infrastructure and design a panel that integrates with minimum disruption to operations.
How do you manage design coordination between electrical and BMS scopes?
We actively facilitate coordination between the electrical contractor, BMS integrator and mechanical services team during the design phase. Our engineers are comfortable reviewing BMS interface schedules, I/O lists and control system diagrams to confirm our panel meets the full interface requirement.
What is your lead time for BMS power panels?
Lead time depends on panel complexity and the volume of documentation to review during design coordination. Typically four to six weeks from drawing approval to dispatch. We agree on a schedule at the start of the project and provide regular updates. Contact our team with your programme and we’ll confirm what’s achievable
