IP55 enclosures handle limited dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, suitable for standard indoor and semi-protected applications. IP56 steps up to strong water jets with only minor dust ingress, for more exposed sites. IP65 enclosures are fully dust-tight and resist low-pressure water jets, making them a good default for outdoor or dusty environments. IP66 is our highest-rated protection — fully dust-tight and rated for high-pressure water jets and suits harsh industrial or wash-down areas.
